School Campus

The Escuela Vera Angelita campus serves as a center for learning and personal development for secondary school youth and young adults / adults looking for technical training support. Maintaining a maximum student to teacher ratio of 20:1, the campus itself is spacious and boasts modern facilities and technologies. Located on a beautiful property of over 437 acres of cloud forest, the learning environment extends far beyond the classroom.

Endeavoring to become the first LEED-certified school project in Nicaragua, great attention was given during the design process to protecting the natural environment and to minimizing our overall long-term ecological footprint. We have the capabilities to harvest our own water, energy, and food, and to process much of our waste onsite. Ongoing efforts to restore the watershed and primary forest are already underway. Even our curriculum gives prominence to environmental sustainable development.

Escuela Vera Angelita is unlike anything in Nicaragua today and will shape the minds & futures of youth for generations to come!
