"Farm Friends"
At Vera Angelita, we serve only healthy vegetarian and vegan cuisine, using mainly ingredients grown from our own gardens. We do not use any chemicals to treat our food or coffee, so everything we grow is 100% organic.
We have a number of domesticated animals that contribute to these sustainable food systems, including chickens, goats, sheep, ducks, and water buffalo. We also have horses, dogs, and a donkey that serve other purposes, such as therapy or security. All of our animals enjoy a high quality of life, are treated ethically, and receive exceptional care from our onsite veterinarian and her team.
You can sponsor one of our “farm friends” with a one-time gift. As a donor, a plaque in your honor with a QR code linking to a short bio of yourself/your designee will be placed outside your sponsored animal’s home.
